Local African American girls sexuality and non-profits

Not that I expect much from them, but what's up with today's Sunday News-Gazette paper's lead "Local" stories being swamped with "local African-American girls and young women choose abstinence with the help of a non-profit" and "local African-American girls and young women choose to keep their babies and call upon the help of a non-profit" stories?"

Three of the six lead Local News stories focus on this topic.

Nearly 50% (47%) of babies are born to unmarried women in Champaign County.
The vast majority of single mothers in Champaign county are white women.

Centering on African American youth is perplexing.
